Activities

Our Activities Organiser; helps residents pursue their own personal interests and encourages them to enjoy group activities.  A wide variety of in-house activities (most of which take place in the 'Activity Room' - pictured below) occur throughout the week; for example:

Ecumenical Service is held every Wednesday Morning Bingo, Dominoes & Quizzes (monthly and weekly) Arts/Crafts & Keep Fit/Motivation Classes Saturday Cinema & Theatre Trips Chalet visits to the North Bay (twice a year) Nail Manicures; with a good one-on-one chat, and a chance to share memories! Lunchtime Clubs in Scarborough Garden Centre visits & Shopping trips Visits to places of local interest Guest speakers and entertainers Children's visits from local schools and organisations In-House shopping

The Activities Organiser also organises outings to places of interest both in the town and in the surrounding countryside, as well as encouraging Residents' own outside activities and pursuits.
